How TestOptim AI works

Projects

Each project represents one application under test — configure URL, login credentials, and crawl settings like max pages and depth.

Knowledge Base

The exploration agent crawls your app and builds a knowledge base of pages, flows, and entities — the foundation for generated tests. Upload PDFs or edit discoveries.

Test Cases & Runs

From the knowledge base, TestOptim generates test cases covering happy paths, negative flows, and edge cases, then runs them as automated tests you can review and edit.

Issues

Failures found during exploration or test runs are reported as issues, with severity ratings, screenshots, logs, and optional sync to Jira and Slack.

Manual Tests

Add test cases manually for scenarios AI missed. The AI enhances manual tests with auto-generated assertions, smart selectors, and visual baselines.

Re-Exploration
